Hi! I'm Manuel Companioni, a trainer specialized in the automotive sector, with a particular focus on commercial vehicles — especially Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
I started my career in 2008 at Grupo Domingo Alonso (Volkswagen Group importer for the Canary Islands). After that, I moved to Germany to continue developing within the Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge brand in Hannover, where the factory is located. I spent 11 years there — learning, going deeper, and most importantly, gaining experience training international markets.
In 2018 I decided to take the next step and begin working as a freelance trainer, staying connected to the brand while collaborating with other countries. I am currently based again in the Canary Islands, where I create my courses, deliver online training, and travel for on-site events when needed.
P.S.: And yes, I’m Cuban — that’s where the name “Asere” comes from :) It’s a common Cuban expression meaning friend or close partner. For me, it represents the trust and connection I aim to build in every training session.
A sense of closeness that I bring with pride to every project I work on.

18 years of experience in the automotive sector and 25 years in training.
I deliver training in Spanish, English, and Portuguese (my German isn’t that fluent, so I leave that to others 😉).
11 years living and working in Germany, in Hannover — headquarters of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
Courses delivered around the world: Argentina, China, Mexico, Miami, Russia, etc.
Freelance since 2018.
I also deliver skills training such as negotiation, handling objections, and DISC.
Before working in automotive, I taught English for medical professionals at the University of Camagüey (Cuba).
